Execution and monitoring

Accessibility work plan

The operational breakdown of adjustments into actions, responsible parties, deadlines, deliveries and forms of proof.

Planning that gets off the ground: who does it, what they deliver, when they do it and how they prove it.

Direct answer

What is a work plan?

It is the document that transforms accessibility objectives and priorities into executable actions, defining activities, responsible parties, deadlines, dependencies and evidence of completion.

It offers operational vision for managers, internal teams and suppliers. Its content should reflect effectively defined interventions, not a generic schedule.

When to use

  • After approval of an adaptation plan.
  • Coordinating different teams and suppliers.
  • In enterprise program execution cycles.
  • To monitor commitments made in institutional processes.
  • When management needs to document progress and completion of actions.

How work can be structured

Actions

Activities and deliveries objectively described.

Responsible team

Decision, execution and validation roles.

Deadlines

Milestones, dependencies and sequence of work.

Evidence

Records required to track completion.

What is the difference to the adaptation plan?

The adaptation plan establishes what needs to be done and in what priority. The work plan translates these decisions into manageable, responsible activities and deadlines.

When there is an accessibility program, different work plans can be drawn up for cycles, units or groups of interventions.

Information for organizing activities

The starting point is to bring together the diagnoses, projects and priorities already defined, in addition to the teams involved and operational restrictions. An action must indicate its expected delivery, who is responsible for it and what conditions need to be resolved before it can begin.

For example, the suitability of a toilet may depend on design, contracting, execution and verification. The plan makes these dependencies visible and allows you to track pending issues without confusing a started activity with a completed solution.

The proposal defines whether the service includes only preparing the document or also meetings and updates. The plan does not replace design, responsibility for execution or required licenses, nor does it change administrative commitments on its own initiative.

If priorities have not yet been established, find out about adaptation plan. To coordinate different cycles and units, see the adaptation program. Constructive solutions are developed in accessibility project.

Frequently asked questions

Does the work plan replace projects?

Can it track multiple units?

Yes. Actions can be organized by unit, priority, person responsible or execution cycle.

Can the document be updated?

Yes. A work plan is a management instrument and can be revised when there are justified changes.

Are priorities already defined?

Now organize the execution.

Convert decisions into trackable actions and clear responsibilities.
